standout all-female, multi-generational
about Jules Lassalle founded the winery in the 1940s, located in Montagne de Reims, establishing a reputation as one of the first and best grower-producers. Since his death in 1982, the winery has been run by three generations of women: his wife, Olga, his daughter, Chantal, and now his granddaughter, Angéline. Their motto is une femme, un esprit, un style. All their vineyards are located in Premier Cru villages, from 50-year-old vines, and are aged extensively for wonderful depth and complexity.

“Cachet Or” Premier Cru Brut NV ($44)
This is one of the best value champagnes around, offering consistency and complexity. Based on two vintages, making it more of a multi- than a non-vintage wine. Three years on the lees, an equal blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Meunier, providing the best of all three varieties: elegance, body, and freshness. 9g/l dosage adds body and weight, fully integrated with vibrant style.
Rosé Brut Premier Cru NV ($88)
70% Pinot Noir, 15% Chardonnay, 15% Meunier. Three and a half years on the lees, 9g/l dosage. Very fine example of pink champagne, attractive red fruit aromas and weight from the lees ageing, with vibrant acidity.
Special Club Premier Cru Brut 2013 ($150)
60% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir. Nine years on the lees, 8g/l dosage. Very elegant, fine, lean, with a welcome fruitiness, not too austere, still very fresh despite maturity.
“Cuvée Angéline” Premier Cru Brut 2011 ($117)
60% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay. Ten years on the lees, 8g/l dosage. Richer, fuller style, mature aromas add complexity but do not dominate: remains very fresh.
