standout vineyard focused Pinot Noir from Côte des Bars
about Dominique Moureau created her own label in 2005, and named it after her grandmother Marie Courtin whom she describes as "a woman of the earth." Since the beginning, Dominique has been dedicated to farming the land as holisitcally as possible, even using a pendulum on the vines to measure their growing patterns. Dominique produces uniquely serious, intense champagne—wines to reflect on rather than drink and dismiss.

“Résonance” NV ($66)
Dominique doesn't add dosage to any of her champagnes, which means that the fruit must be pristine when picked. The vines on her 2.5ha site were planted in the 1970s, mostly to Pinot Noir with a little Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc. Her property is certified organic and is moving towards being biodynamically certified. Although this is labeled as non-vintage, the fruit comes from the 2016 vintage. Drink this as you would a white wine.
