standout mile-long cellars

about established in 1930 by Pierre and Hélène Coquillette, their son Christian taking over in 1950 who was in charge of production for seventy years until his death in 2020. His son Stéphane now makes the wines (as well as his own). The cellar was built in the nineteenth century, and holds hundreds of thousands of bottles. Most of the fruit comes from the Chouilly Grand Cru, with one and a half hectares of Meunier in Epernay. The style is lean and elegant.
