standout next generation continuing the winery’s development
about fomerly known as Vincent Renoir, the winery has recently undergone a name change, as his son Adrien is now in charge of winemaking. Like many young Champagne winemakers, Adrien is converting his father's growing practices into an organic approach. Adrien is the fourth generation: this is a family with plenty of winemaking experience, with extended knowledge of the 5ha of land they farm.

"72 Mois v.13" Extra Brut Grand Cru NV ($75)
This is the thirteenth version of the wine to be released, hence the description "v.13." Its name, "72 Mois," also tells you just how long it has been aged in the bottle before release. 70% of the wine comes from the 2011 vintage, with the other 30% from 2007-2010. Therefore, the wine has lots of nutty maturity, but it's still incredibly fresh, elegant, and drinking perfectly now.
