about Alfred Gratien made his first wines in 1864, passing to Gaston (1905), Charles (1951), Jean-Pierre (1966), and Nicolas (1990). Since the very beginning, the base wines have been vinified in oak barrels for a style that’s both elegant and quite round and rich. Now owned by Henkell-Freixenet.
