about fifth-generation family producer based in the village of Brouillet west of Reims. Paul-Vincent Ariston is the current generation. Overall style is generous but very lively.

40% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir, 30% Meunier. Three years lees’ ageing. A very approachable and affordable introduction to champagne. Great value for the price. (Used to be called “Carte Blanche.”)
