standout Meunier based small champagne producer
about 14,000 bottle (1,150 case) production from 3ha of plantings, all bottlings vintage with a focus on Meunier. Benoît, whose family has been growing grapes since 1787, is determined to replace the image of Meunier as the simplest of Champagne’s grape varieties. Due to the elegance and finesse of the wines, you wouldn’t guess they were all made from Meunier, though there is a gentle fruitiness to them. All base wines vinified and matured in oak barrels.
