standout evolving with each generation
about growers since 1848, wine producers since 1949 when Albert Bergère founded Maison Bergère. His son André took over in 1986 and expanded holdings with his wife Brigitte. They now have a tasting room in Epernay, and their son Adrien is in charge of winemaking. They have 45ha of vineyards, 35 hectares in the Val de Petit Morin near Côte des Blancs where they also have another 5ha, plus another five in Côte Sézannais. The labels feature maps of the vineyards the wine comes from, which is a nice touch. Quite a rich house style, with barrel ageing for base wines. Found in good wine shops across France, and finally being exported.
