standout true farmers

about founded as a farm in the 1930s, expanded into winemaking in the 1960s by André. His son Michel joined in the 1970s, and now his son Guillaume is part of the team. “Brut Nature” Crémant de Savoie NV ($32)

100% Jacquère, the most important grape variety in Savoie. It's well-suited to the clay-limestone soils found in the region and maintains naturally high acidity in the cool climate, making it very suitable for sparkling wine. The wine is made in the traditional method, spending one year on the lees for a lightly toasy texture.
