standout
about a viticultural history in Württemberg which goes back to the 1400s, though its modern history begins in the 1950s, continuing when Gert Joachim Aldinger took over winemaking in 1992. The winery is part of the long history of Württemberg but also of its modern development. A slightly bewildering number of wines made.

No. 530 Brut (€20)
No. 530 Brut Rosé (€20)
Both wines a blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, and Meunier, very similar in style despite the different colours. Both 11.5%, with 11 months lees aging. Fresh, fun, approachable, round, and toasty. Very drinkable. A new range named after the number of harvests the family has conducted.
