standout traditional prosecco
about founded in 1947, Bortolotti are a traditional, hands-on prosecco producer in contrast to most of the high-volume wines which emerged over the last 20 years. Established by Umberto Bortolotti, who was also one of the founders of the National Exhibition of Sparkling Wines and Prosecco Brotherhood. A wide range of wines is made, including single-site expressions, a sui lievite and a rosé from Lagrein: Bortolotti are both traditional and experimental.

90% Glera, 10% Pinot Bianco. 225-350m elevation. Very typical of prosecco in. style—off-dry, floral, aromatic—but of higher quality and greater depth than most.
