standout top-class Friuli producer making quality sparkling

about Based in Friuli in north-east Italy with plantings at 250m elevation, Edi Kante took over his father's property in the late 1980s and started to experiment with historic local grape varieties as well as making orange wine. He has fashioned a reputation for precise white wines that are fresh and immediately appealing, but which also have the structure to age well. He also makes sparkling wine using the traditional method, both white and rosé.
