standout one of the original California sparkling producers
about founded in the late 1970s by Barry and Audrey Sterling, the winery is in a beautiful location in Green Valley in Sonoma County. The area was little planted at the time, but has become a centre for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay production. Their wine was served at the Reagan-Gorbachev summit in 1985, and has been served at several summits since. There is a clear appreciation of nature, as seen in the Ocean Reserve wine, produced to help protect marine areas. The winery is still family owned and run.
