standout leading Long Island bubbles producer
about winery established in the mid-2000s by Cynthia and Tom Rosicki, first release in 2008, only sparkling wine made. The property was bought in 2005, located on the North Fork of Long Island. Winemaker from the start has been Gilles Martin, who also worked for Roederer Estate in California as well as other Roederer properties in France. Thirteen wines made, including a sparkling red.

“Cuvée Cynthia” Blanc de Noirs 2017 ($65)
56% Pinot Noir, 44% Meunier. Four years lees ageing, with 6g/l dosage—a small amount of sugar necessary to balance the racy acidity. Quite a lot of lees complexity, with cinnamon, crême brûlée, tarte tatin aromas, though not quite pristine.
