30% Macabeo, 20% Xarel.lo, 25% Parellada, 25% Monastrell. Two years on lees, vintage based, no dosage. Nice weight and red fruit aromas from the Monastrell, dry and high acid.
“Cupada” No. 24 Brut Nature Reserva NV ($20)
50% Macabeo, 30% Xarello, 20% Parellada. Two years ageing, no dosage. Cupada refers to Mata’s ongoing adjustments from year to year in his non-vintage blends. Fresh, high acid, lightly fruity.
